Archival mounted on acid-free board.

Framed in a solid oak frame with glass. Frame size 30x40cm.

This print sits between a window mount and a backing board and is held in place in such a way that keeps the integrity of the actual print.

This means that the mount can be dismantled without damaging the print. All materials used in this process are acid-free and of conservation standard.
The awe inspiring Castlerigg Stone Circle surrounded by the Lake District fells where the light is constantly changing. The early morning light was truly magical.

A seven layered reduction linocut where each layer layer is hand carved. The lightest colours are rolled first and with each subsequent layer, some more of the lino is carved away.

The layers of ink within the sky layers have been delicately rolled in a painterly manner to allow the morning glow to reveal itself.

Each print is an original handcrafted linocut print in which the subtle variations in each print are treasured.
